G’s Pěstitel o.d., a marketing cooperative, is an organisation of vegetable producers founded in 2008.

Currently, it has eight members (vegetable growers).

It was recognised as a producer company by the State Agricultural Fund on 12 June 2009; it was recognised as a producer organisation on 10 December 2013. Until 28 August 2015, the recognised crops included onions, peppers, head cabbage, savoy cabbage, beans, lettuce, napa cabbage, beetroot, chives, cauliflower, celery and spinach. On 29 August 2015, the list of recognised crops in the ‘Vegetables’ category was expanded for the producer organisation, as the range of the vegetables grown broadened.

G’s Pěstitel o.d. provides for the planning and sale of the produce grown by its members. The cooperative’s activities aim to strengthen their market position through a joint action in the sale of goods. Joining forces in a producer organisation ensures a better position for each producer in relation to customers, especially wholesalers. It allows a continuous improvement of the quality of the produce grown and a coordinated planning and monitoring of the production depending on the demand, crop growing conditions and the capacity of each grower. Such planning improves our members’ production efficiency. This also boosts the level of technology which in turn leads to increased competitiveness of our products.
